Attorney Luis A. Virguez has dedicated his career to helping others in all aspects of immigration proceedings and personal injury. With over 12 years of experience handling complex cases, he has successfully represented thousands of people across the country and in numerous jurisdictions.
In 2021, the attorney will be celebrating his 5th anniversary of founding Virguez Law (VL) in Duluth, Georgia. Virguez Law is an award-winning Personal Injury Law Firm, one of the fastest growing bilingual and multi-cultural firms in Metro Atlanta. Their success is the result of a profound desire to protect individuals by providing an honest and personalized representation with the knowledge that two cases are never identical. The VL team has created a bridge to the American dream for hundreds of families in order for them to stay together through some of the most current and challenging immigration scenarios including removal proceedings and deportation defense, naturalization or citizenship, humanitarian visas and non-immigrant visas (temporary visas).
Attorney Luis Virguez has been able to recover millions of dollars for his injured clients in car and trucking accidents, slip and fall accidents, wrongful death and worker’s compensation cases, making him a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forum and the Million Dollar Advocate Forum. He also is part of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Additionally, Luis Virguez often contributes expert insights on the impact of legislation on local Atlanta media outlets such as TV, Radio, Newspapers and Social Media with the objective to educate and empower the general public. He has also served on several non-profit organization boards, and has passionately made a priority to invest resources in the community by sponsoring local events that benefit the most vulnerable. Luis Virguez is part of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and regularly speaks in community outreach events, universities, law schools, and continuing education classes for practicing attorneys.
Attorney Luis Virguez graduated from the University of Georgia cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and later attended the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University. When he isn’t helping his clients, he likes to spend quality time with his wife Jennifer, their daughter, Mia Grace, and their labradoodle Pebbles.
