It depends on your injury. Some people can suffer very serious injuries and the treatment can last a long time. Our job along with the doctors’ job is to recognize what possible injuries occurred after an accident. Did you hit your head against the steering wheel? Is it a soft tissue case? Did you get a herniation and need injections, surgery? In Georgia, the statute of limitations is 2 years. Treatment could take longer than 2 years, but it’s not typical.
